RJ Griffith Gives Free School Supplies and Over 200 Backpacks to Kids in Chicago (Celebrity Giving)

Artist, R.J. Griffith continues to make waves throughout the music industry with mega-motivating songs like “Same 24” but to his hometown, those positive vibes are very well known.

When he’s not performing shows or singing the national anthem for the Chicago White Sox, it’s his Philanthropy that takes center stage.

This past weekend, the “Good Day” singer hosted the 1st Annual—Good Day BookBag Drive. The event is just one of many benefits thrown by his non-profit “Positive Vibes Only.” The charity’s mission is to educate, transform and inspire today’s youth through creativity and performing arts.

And a Good Day it was! The event included music, food, hair cuts, a bouncy house and over 240 free backpacks and school supplies for the undeserved youth in East Chicago and surrounding areas.

For more information on this amazing non-profit, please visit http://positivevibesonly.org. Also, lookout for his upcoming EP “A Good Day…”
